According to the statistics of
Administration, today there are 250.1 million people who are older than 65
years old, and there are more than 4 million people who live alone by
themselves. What’s more, the amount of old people may grow up rapidly, till the
year of 114, the population of old people in Taiwan will up to 20.1 ％, which means in
year 114, every five people would have one old person among them. So the
situation shows us there will have more and more old people who live alone need
us to pay more attention toward them.
Because of your and my indifference,
selfishness and impatience, they are alone, helpless and have no one to rely
on.
Don’t think that you can’t do anything for
them. What they need is only your care, companionship and love. So indifference,
cut it out, selfishness, cut it out, impatience cut it out. We care what they
care. They need you!!
